WALKING FOOTBALL - Stratford Town player receives England cap

A PLAYER from Stratford Town walking football club received a second England cap after representing his country.

Stratford’s Paul Clarke received his second walking football England cap from former Manchester United and Nottingham Forest forward Peter Davenport.

Clarke represented England at a charity tournament in Birmingham back in March to help raise awareness and funds for Prostate Cancer UK.

He received the cap before a training session with the England team ahead of the Walking Football World Cup.

Preparation for the Walking World Cup continues on Saturday, June 20 at Boldmere St Michaels with a charity tournament in aid of mental health charity What’s Behind the Smile.
