BOTH the men’s and women’s teams at Stratford Town Walking Football Club were crowned champions at a recent tournament.
The club’s over-50s men’s team and women’s team triumphed at a tournament hosted by Corby United.
And Stratford’s over-65s team just missed out on glory in a fine showing from the club at the event.
Stratford’s over-60s also beat Worcestershire league champions Evesham to progress in the WFA Cup.
Chairman, Paul Clarke said: “I could not be prouder. To be competing so well as a club that is only 10 months old is remarkable.
“We have some fantastic players at all levels.”
The club’s over-50s will compete in a tournament hosted by Rushden and Diamonds this weekend.
