STRATFORD-upon-Avon Boat Club president Paul Stanton congratulated the club’s adaptive squad following their recent success.
The club’s adaptive athletes won a number of medals and broke two world records at the British Rowing Indoor Championships.
And Boat Club president Stanton visited the squad after they had returned to home water on the Avon.
Stanton said: “Two World Records and multiple medals – what an accolade for the athletes, the adaptive squad and Stratford Boat Club.
“However, praise should also go to all the adaptive coaches, helpers, parents, supporters and peers who encourage the athletes and form part of the larger adaptive family.”
