New mural unveiled at Stratford community centre

THE KEN Kennett Centre in Stratford is looking colourful thanks to more than your regular lick of paint.

The centre’s bold new mural was unveiled by Paint Stratford at the recent Clopton Family Fun Day at the weekend.

The artwork was created by Phill Blake, known as Philth, a multi-disciplinary artist celebrated for his large-scale murals.

His work blends the elegant influences of Art Nouveau with the beauty of nature, drawing inspiration from intricate floral designs and rich heritage patterns. His artistry is showcased in galleries and public spaces around the globe.

This creation at the Ken Kennett Centre is the latest addition to Stratford’s ever-growing mural trail.

Jason Fojtik, chair of the Clopton Community Action Group, said: “I’m delighted to see the completed artwork now proudly displayed on the front of the Ken Kennett Community Centre. This stunning piece not only brightens the space, but reflects the heart of our community.

“We’d like to say a huge thank you to Paint Stratford and artist Phill Blake for their incredible work – it’s a powerful addition to a centre created by and for local residents.”
