STRATFORD Town have confirmed the appointment of Dale Belford as the club’s new first team coach.
Belford returns to the Bards after a previous spell with the club in 2020 was cut short due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The 57-year-old left his role as manager of Northern Premier League West side Stafford Rangers to join the Bards.
Belford said: “Stratford Town is somewhere I’ve enjoyed previously, I know a lot of people here and I feel really comfortable here and I feel privileged I’ve had the opportunity to come back.
“I had an enjoyable time at Stafford Rangers with fantastic people but hopefully I can come here to Stratford and add something, to what has already been a successful season.”
Belford previously worked with current Bards caretaker manager Paul Davis during his brief spell with the club in 2020.
He managed Atherstone Town and Tamworth prior to joining Stafford as assistant manager in 2021.
Belford took on the manager’s job at Stafford in October 2024.
He leaves Rangers four points from safety in the Northern Premier League West relegation zone.
