THE latest round of matches took place in the Stratford-upon-Avon Table Tennis League.

In Division One, Stratford Racketeers overpowerd Shottery to secure a 12-3 victory as Pete Barrow led the charge to earn his first player of the match award of the season.

A two-horse race for the Division One title is shaping up with Snitterfield and Stratford Racketeers both vying for top spot.

In Division Two, Stratford Jets edge out FISSC 13-9 in a thrilling encounter as Alberto Vitale’s fine performance guided the Jets to victory.

Stratford Jets and Stratford Paddles sit joint top of the table although the latter side have a game in-hand against Ashorne.

In Division Three, Willersey B proved too strong for Stratford Junior Girls after securing a 15-1 victory although Freya Boer produced a standout performance for the latter side.




Elsewhere, Littleton Panthers beat Stratford Edge Shots 13-8 as Edward Waldron and Archie Pilling both starred.

The Division Three title remains up for grabs with Willersey B, Ilmington, Littleton Panthers and Stratford Edge Shots all in contention.
