Top advice for Stratford Riding Club members

Stratford Editorial 11th Jul, 2016 Updated: 28th Oct, 2016   0

STRATFORD Riding Club members picked up some top tips when they attended a flatwork and dressage training clinic at Willicote Equestrian Centre.

Trainer Liz Neal put everyone through their paces by getting them to improve on their dressage competition warm-up techniques, work on their centre line and make better use of the corners.

All riders and horses worked hard and showed great improvement throughout the session.

The riding club is hosting its annual summer show on Sunday, August 21 at Willicote Equestrian Centre on Campden Road, just outside Stratford, by kind permission of Mr and Mrs D Stephenson.

Stratford Riding Club is a friendly club in which you do not have to own a horse to join. If you want to learn more, or just enjoy the company of other horse enthusiasts, then you are most welcome to come along to the training sessions.

However, if you want to compete, represent the club in inter-branch competitions, improve your horse and your riding or take RC exams, then the club will support you.
