TWO people accused of murdering Stratford woman Bethany Hill have appeared in court.

Kayleigh Louise Woods, 22, of Hertford Road, and Jack Williams, 20, of Redlands Crescent spoke only to confirm their names and addresses when they went before magistrates at Leamington Justice Centre on Monday (February 8).

They have been jointly charged with the murder of 20-year-old Bethany Hill, who was found with neck wounds at an address in Hertford Road around 7pm on Wednesday (February 3).

An emotional Ms Woods wiped her eyes and waved to friends and family in the public gallery as she was taken from the courtroom while Mr Williams, who was wearing a white Jack Wills t-shirt, showed no reaction as the charge of murder was read out.

Neither entered a plea and the pair were remanded in custody.

They are set to appear at Warwick Crown Court for a preliminary hearing on Tuesday (February 9).
