Teenagers seriously as car overturns near Alcester

THREE teenagers were taken to hospital after their car overturned near Alcester.

It happened on Wilmcote Lane between Aston Cantlow and Haselor shortly before 11pm on Friday7 night (March 27).

The young man driving – who suffered minor injuries – had managed to get out of the car by the time ambulance crews arrived.

But two others were trapped inside. A 17 year-old girl – who suffered a serious head injury a fractured right arm and suspected back and pelvic injuries – was freed after 30 minutes and taken to Warwick Hospital.




A man was also freed and taken to Coventry’s University Hospital with a serious head and facial injuries as well as chest and suspected back and pelvic injuries.

The cause of the crash has not been reported.
