Polling cards for EU Referendum to be sent out

Stratford Editorial 11th May, 2016 Updated: 28th Oct, 2016   0

POLLING cards for the upcoming EU Referendum are being sent out by Stratford District Council next week.

The election will take place on June 23 and the cards are designed to inform residents across Warwickshire where their polling station is and when they can vote.

Residents must either be on the electoral register or have applied to be so by Tuesday June 7 to be able to vote in the election.

Postal votes are available to any resident on the electoral register and are useful for those unable to get to a polling station on the day due to health reasons or those on holiday or working away.

All completed application forms for postal votes must be submitted to the council by Wednesday June 8.

Anyone with queries about the election or unsure of their eligibility to vote is asked to call Stratford District Council on 01789 260208.

Visit www.gov.uk/register-to-vote to register to vote.
