ARTISTIC pupils at Northleigh House School are showcasing their work.

The Hatton-based school will be displaying A Level and GSCE artwork and photography at the Stratford ArtsHouse.

After hearing increasingly common stories about children committing suicide due to bullying, husband and wife team Fred and Vivian Morgan decided to transform their ten-bedroom home into a school for victims in 2012.

The school now has 20 pupils, aged 11 to 17-years, and relies on donations to operate.

Teacher Scarlett Shellis said: “Photography and art is a therapeutic outlet for our students who have suffered an awful time prior to attending Northleigh House School. We want to celebrate their creativity and confidence to create such beautiful work.”

The exhibition at the Stratford ArtsHouse runs from July 2 to 13.
