Groups urged to apply for Stratford Town Trust funding

Stratford Editorial 23rd Oct, 2015 Updated: 28th Oct, 2016   0

HELP is at hand for groups or projects in need of funding – that’s the message from Stratford Town Trust as it seeks new applicants for grants.

The grant-giving charity is looking to help with fast-track funding up to the value of £1,000, with a decision made within days.

Grants manager Claire Bowry said: “Our fast-track grants have supported a huge number of organisations and projects, from the judo club to the annual Shakespeare schools lecture.

“You don’t have to live in Stratford to apply for help from Stratford Town Trust but your project or group must benefit the people of the town. You don’t need to be a registered charity to apply for a fast-track grant either.

“If you’re involved in a project in the town and you’re in need of funding, consider whether the Town Trust may be able to help you. Applications under our fast-track scheme can be submitted all year round and you will usually receive a decision within ten working days.”
