Grants available to help communities get online

COMMUNITIES struggling to get online are set to be given a helping hand.

Stratford District Council has teamed up with Voluntary Action Stratford (VASA) and Orbit Heart of England to offer grants of up to £4,000 to voluntary and community organisations across the district.

The grants are designed to support isolated or rural communities and those who lacking basic IT skills as well as those who are seeking to increase financial well-being and access to training or employment opportunities.

VASA will be holding a meeting at its HQ in Arden Street on Tuesday (July 28) between 10am and noon to help with applications.
