Escape Arts spread some Christmas cheer

Stratford Editorial 2nd Dec, 2015 Updated: 28th Oct, 2016   0

A MAGICAL unicorn and techno grotto are just some of the installations helping to transform Stratford’s Old Slaughterhouse into a winter wonderland.

Throughout December local arts charity Escape Arts will be holding a number of festive workshops and events at their Grade II listed headquarters.

Santa and his elves will be on hand to meet children every Thursday evening and Saturday afternoon throughout the month.

And on Friday December 11 there will be an evening of festive fun including carol singing and a hog roast.

For the rest of the weekend (December 12 and 13) an artisan Christmas market will be held along with face painting, a visit from Father Christmas and craft activities for the family.

Fabric wreath making and chocolate truffle making are just some of the workshops on offer throughout the festive season.

There will be a number of activities taking place throughout the month, including fabric wreath making and chocolate truffle making.
