By-election to take place in Studley following councillor resignation

A BY-ELECTION is to be held in Studley following the resignation of a councillor.

The Studley with Sambourne by-election is set to take place on Thursday, February 25.

Vying for the seat are Paul Beaman (Cons), Nick Moon (Ind), Nigel Rogers (UKIP), Karen Somner-Brown (Lab), and Hazel Wright (Lib Dem).

Polling stations will be open at The Church Hall in Sambourne and The Village Hall in Studley from 7am to 10pm.




Counting will then take place after close of polls with the result posted on Stratford District Council’s website and on Twitter at @SDCElects.

As it stands, the council is made up of 30 Conservative representatives, three Lib Dems, one Labour and one Independent.
