Easter egg donations wanted to help children with life-limiting illness

IT COULD be an eggs-tra special easter for children with life-limiting illnesses this year.

David Baker Funeral Directors in Bidford is asking residents to donate easter eggs and gifts for Acorns Children’s Hospice.

Spokeswoman Gabby Sanchez said: “We have been collecting eggs and gifts for the children and their families at the hospice for several years now and each year we have increased the number collected thanks to the generosity of local people.

“It is wonderful when we deliver sacks full of eggs and gifts to the hospice in time for easter.”

Anyone wishing to help can leave their donations at the funeral home on High Street between 9am and 5pm on weekdays until March 23.
