Businesses invited to comment on Stratford District Council's budget proposals

Stratford Editorial 22nd Jan, 2016 Updated: 28th Oct, 2016   0

BUSINESSES are being invited to give their thoughts on Stratford District Council’s budget.

The authority has a statutory duty to consult with businesses on the budget and the process of setting council tax levels and a meeting is set to take place on Tuesday (February 2) from 6pm at the district council’s HQ in Church Street.

The meeting is largely informal and will be chaired by council leader, Chris Saint while members of The Cabinet and other councillors will also be attending.

There will be a presentation outlining the spending plans for the coming year and the meeting will also give businesses the opportunity to discuss any matter relating to the council’s services.

Any businesses that would like to attend but have not received an invitation are asked to email [email protected] or call 01789 260403.
