FOAMY fund-raisers will be getting all in a lather when the world’s bubbliest race comes to Hatton this weekend.

The Bubble Rush is set to take place at Hatton Country World on Saturday (June 25) and will see hundreds of people run, jog or walk a 5km course through reams of frothy bubbles.

The fun-filled family event is being held to raise funds for Acorns Children’s Hospice, which supports life-limited and life-threatened children and their families across the region.

Everyone who takes part will be given a free t-shirt, medal, and discounted entry to Hatton Country World.

Sarah Bowron, Acorns fund-raising manager, said: “Whatever your ability – young or old – this event is one not to be missed and guaranteed to put a smile on your face!

“The sight of hundreds of people running through a field of multi-coloured bubbles will be spectacular and it will be a fantastic day out for all.

“Acorns relies on fund-raising, including events such as this to continue providing its vital care so we’re hoping lots of people join us.”
